Foxe's Book Of Martyrs
This week our co-hosts present a discussion about the geopolitical and imperial nature of Roman religion and its continuous historical urge to attain and yield absolute temporal political power over kings and nations. It has been the unwavering stratagem of the Vatican to build up and reinforce the massive military concentration of armaments against the enemies of the Vatican. In a modern example we can see that secret Concordat between the CCP and the Vatican emboldens Chinese military adventurism and even attempts to cover the aggression of the PLA or Chinese military with a sense of divine destiny. It has been the constant positioning by the Vatican of political agents and adversaries instigating the military invasion of North America which has long been proclaimed a heretical nation by the Roman papacy.
The Bartholemew Day Massacre took place in Paris France in 1572 and was incited by a Jesuit priest insisting that the slaughter of Protestants and Huguenots was necessary if the French nobility wanted to do penance and receive absolution through the confessional booth. The wedding of Protestant prince Henry of Navarre in Paris to a Catholic princess was used as justification to disarm the and deceive the Huguenots with royal promises and letters of safe passage. This carefully crafted art of war which murdered so many French Christians was the hallmark of the newly constituted Knights of the Virgin Mary in 1542 or the Jesuit Society as they would later come to be known.
This precisely identical doctrine of exterminating heretical princes and kings was in play later in 1605, whereupon the fanatical Jesuits sought to destroy the king of England in a continuation of the horrific St. Bartholemew day slaughter that took place after the wedding of Henry of Navarre. King James I was not submitted to the priests of Rome and allowed many freedoms to Protestant and Calvinist believers and like the Edict of Nantes this religious tolerance was unacceptable to Rome. And for this reason the secret assassins of the black pope were sent forth to destroy the Protestant king as an enemy of the pope who could be safely extirpated and thus the famous events of the Gunpowder Plot and Jesuit Treason became history albeit little known.
